Sharon Public Library Recommendations
This project shows a snapshot of my process. Every project begins with an initial project brief where I try to uncover the needs from the client’s perspective and determine how to find any gaps between these needs and what their users might see as needs. While this project was theoretical in nature since it was done for a class, it outlines the process I adhere to for most projects; discover, design and refine.
The Challenge: The library was hoping to improve overall usability by taking deep dive into the information architecture. They also wanted to learn about the perceptions and frustrations of the end users.
The Solution: Once the initial stakeholder meeting was complete, a thorough competitive analysis was done, and personas were developed, a draft sitemap was created and presented to the client for feedback. The final sitemap was created in addition to proposed wireframes.
The Results: A recommendations plan based on user research.
